CURRICULUM

	We’ve all seen it – children learn best through play. So our classrooms promote self-confidence, competence, and self-worth through a combination of independent and group play. Our nurturing environment is ideal for giving your child – and your family – a positive early childhood school experience.

	Our thematic units include the things kids love: farms, colors/shapes, woodland animals, outer space, dinosaurs, caterpillars-butterflies, nursery rhymes, pets, seasons, transportation, under the sea, castles, and holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter and Mother’s Day).

	While we don’t emphasize pre-reading and math skills, your child is inquisitive, and one-to-one number correspondence, counting, and letter and name recognition naturally become a part of Our Day .
